Pheromone lures: MYO, TIP, TIP+VES , MYO+TIP+VES, FOR (the best).
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: This species has suddenly reappeared after a long absence, with the record from Clifton near York in 1947 (S. Wakely, MRB pers. Comm.), being the only record since Porritt (1883-86) until the late 1960s. Records from vice-counties 61 to 64 are shown on map 204 in MBGBI 2, but most of these have not yet been traced (Porritt only recorded it from York).
2012 (CHF): Use of pheromone lures has shown that we have a good population of this species in the south of the county.
