Species Account

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Local but often common in suitable habitats. It can be flushed from chalk grassland during the day and flies commonly in woodland rides at dusk (PQW pers. comm.). It also comes readily to light (AMR pers. comm.).

2012 (CHF): Widespread in good numbers but commonest in the centre and east of the county.
